Parents For PV
Parents For PV is the registered political committee advocating for students, parents, and public education across Paradise Valley Unified School District.
Parents For PV stands as a beacon of advocacy and support for the public schools in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the surrounding areas. Dedicated to ensuring parents are informed and empowered, we play a vital role in disseminating crucial information about the Governing Board and the broader public school system.
By bridging the gap between parents and the educational system, we foster a stronger community and contribute to the betterment of society at large. Through this work, we help create a more informed and engaged citizenry, enriching the educational experience for every PVUSD student.
Paradise Valley Unified School District No. 69 has two continuation ballot questions this cycle. Both are renewals of existing authority, not new taxes — the tax rate you pay today does not change with a yes vote.
Continues the district's existing maintenance and operation (M&O) budget override authority and resulting tax.
Continues authority for the district to adopt a budget that includes an amount for capital purposes exceeding its District Additional Assistance (D&A) budget limit.
Always confirm exact ballot language with the Maricopa County Elections official sample ballot before Election Day.
